Royal Meteorological Society

NW RMetS

The local centres play an important role for most members of the Society and it is, in my view, important that the NW centre is revived - it had been inactive for a number of years up to 2006. We had 5 meeting in our 2006-07 schedule and all those meeting have been interesting and well attended, as were our meetings in 2007-08.

We are currently working on our schedule of talks for the coming year so if anyone has any suggestion for speakers or themes for meetings, please let me know.

FORTHCOMING MEETINGS

CLIMATE ENGINEERING with Prof. Andrew Watson FRS (University of East Anglia). Venue: TBA. Date: 29/09/2009.

Details of our meetings will be posted here and on the NW RMetS of the RMetS website as they become available
